11 September 2006. Catalonia celebrates the so called “Diada de Catalunya” a national holiday throughout Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, reflecting the importance of Catalonian nationality celebrating its own unique identity. La “Diada” is the anniversary of the day in 1714 when the Franco-Spanish army captured Barcelona, ending the region's autonomous status.
On the other side of the ocean Americans remember the tragedy dell'11-S…
I just wanted to express my solidarity to all those who lost beloved person and shout, from this small window on the world, STOP THE VIOLENCE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!! HUGS AND KISSES
I'm back again! I'm so sorry for haveing neglected my intimate, simple, small blog but lately I'm very, very busy. I'm going to move soon to a lovely small town near Barcelona, Vilanova i la Geltrú...a lovely place by the sea, so I nearly had no free time between going back to work, receiving first my sister, then my parents visit, looking for a flat in Vilanova and so on...although I had the chance to meet and know new friends! Anyway if you'd like to know more about Vilanova i la Geltrú, a nice fishermen town in El Garraf, 40min from Barcelona, check www.vilanova.cat
Write you soon!
